Olargues

Languedoc-Roussillon

Olargues is one of the gems of the Haut Languedoc wildlife park.

Offering both the waters of the Massif Central and the meridional sun, Olargues was populated as early as prehistoric times. The local lords erected a castle in the 12th and closed the village with fortifications. Old monuments survive to this day : the old bridge, the commanderie and église St Laurent.
