Auvergne

A monastery was installed in the Middle Ages by the benedictine order.

The benedictine abbey founded in 1057 was inhabited by nuns until the Revolution. The refectory shows a12th mural painting of Byzantine inspiration. On the village ‘s central place, the house of arts and traditions shows a typical Auvergne home.
